Tatum (owner) has many years of experience working with students from all backgrounds and stages (freshman - senior). She is able to quickly access the best way to work with your young adult to help them through the process (and also the parents). I have just one son and he's a senior athlete. I had no idea of all the things involved in the college process. Things have changed significantly since I went through it after high school. Having someone who is well versed, has an expertise in the area, and has the tools to help us through the process was a game changer.

We both would have been anxious, she would have procrastinated, I would have nagged and given a ton of ill-informed advice, and while she probably would have gotten into some college or another, it would have been a negative and not particularly successful experience for both of us. My son completed his first year at Northeastern, but was very challenged with college level calculus. Vanessa was instrumental in providing support from content to strategies, resulting in a very successful passing grade. It was an accelerated Summer session, making the task even more difficult. Vanessa really took the time to teach and communicate in a manner that was effective. Tatum kept regular tabs on progress and reported back to me on a regular basis. I highly recommend!!

I hired Tatum to tutor my 3 daughters and my son in almost all of their subjects, especially English and math. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who needs help, and if you are not sure just ask Tatum because I think she tutors just about anything! I've never met anyone who knew so much about so many subjects! She really is the teenage whisperer. Tatum really knows how to motivate kids and get them to try hard even if they do not want to study the subject, like math.
